Things had been on an upswing ever since the convention and I felt almost high after the debate. The last 24 hours, though, have been a reminder of how I felt in June
I think it's something to do with how effectively they've hijacked the news cycle again, distracting us from the Hope of Kamala to remind us of the threat of Trump
It's exhausting in a visceral way
