I take these donation calls as part of my punishment for having asthma. Not that it is not a worthy cause, as it absolutely is, but I used to have a real job working with real people making real money and now have to be a cave dweller.
But I wanted to report something novel happening that I have a unique perspective to report. The virtual call center I work for took on the ACLU as a client just a couple of years ago and I quickly learned to just HATE these calls because of all the asshole white people calling to 'ask a question' which was always a way to try and goad me into an argument. Not happening, as much as I would like to educate your dumbass, I will lose this job doing so.
Lately however EVERY SINGLE CALL is a legit donation call!?!! I am sure the ignorant fucks are still out there, but they have grown sheepish. I think it is seeping slowly in, they are not on the right side of things.
