Since ice hockey exists, so should steam hockey.
Here’s what I propose for steam hockey:
* the rink would be made of smooth metal or some other slick surface, kept slick by jets of steam periodically released from the ground
* players would wear boots with steam-powered thrusters attached to the back
* puck would be made of metal and magnetically charged
