每个软件的开发者大会就是它们的更新日志. 大多数时候我看游戏的前瞻直播主要是为了些独家内容, 比如主持人和嘉宾的互动, 弹幕氛围, 首发的 PV 和游戏内容. 有时候还会和朋友, 和群友分享情绪, 或者去和喜欢的博主一起看直播.
会在乎和会认真读软件的更新日志的用户都是具有很高黏性的用户, 这是所有的以用户为本的软件开发者和公司都希望拥有的. 搞不起 "实体" 的那就好好写更新日志吧, 如果还想知道详细用户的参与度就去带有访客分析的博客上写文章, 最好带个评论区.
某些 "更新日志" 就搞点八股文式的, 他们服务的主要客户就可能不是用户了, 至少不是我关心的.

某些繁杂的更新去省略掉是合理的, 如果真的有必要, 可以实行双版本号: 内部版本号的更新日志给项目成员和下游看, 外部版本号给最终用户看的. 大多数的项目, 特别是开源项目并没有很好地区分本身的受众到底是哪部分, issues 实际上根本不适合收集用户反馈, 这部分工作应该交给运营的人来做. 不过大多数项目并没有那么多人力去做运营, 用爱发电的和独立开发的贡献者担任的角色一般有: 开发, 测试, 运维, 运营, 支持, 商务, 营销, 财务, 数据分析和产品经理(项目主管). 共同点都在祈祷别担任「法务」, 一个 DMCA 和平台封禁都受不了, 拿回项目资产全靠自己的备份, 备份不了的损失那就真的彻底消失了.

依赖此类机制的社区往往陷入独裁者悖论, 开放与控制的需求产生持续冲突, 而所谓 "仁慈独裁者" 不过是权力结构暂时稳定的偶然产物, 难以制度化. 开放社区最终还是会走向封闭, 当新鲜血液难以注入社区, 社区就会逐渐迈向衰老, 然后死亡或分裂. 而终生仁慈独裁者也迟早有一天不得不面对社会化身份的衰老和死亡, 或者是自己对独裁感到倦怠, 或者是对社区的意识形态不再认同, 或者是本身社区起源的共识的都已经开始走向衰老.

在群友的推荐下尝试了 Zen Browser, 确实有耳目一新的感觉, 让我想起了那个善于营销的 Arc (划掉).
全局调色板很好, 我很喜欢. 竖向标签页其实我个人并不常用, 因为我喜欢视窗始终是在屏幕中央对齐的, 因为大多数网页都会给你设计为中央对齐, 有的还会有自己的侧边栏, 这种就导致了我看东西的就会感觉自己是歪着的, 不是很习惯.
我喜欢我能随时在工作区上访问书签, 最好还是能树形的. 所有浏览器都是顶部, 如果能原生把书签栏放在侧边就好了, 这种既可以用左侧边栏管理书签, 右侧边栏就又能选择书签, 让视窗保持在中央. 为了这种体验我曾经试过很多插件, 但他们都要么不支持同步要么就内置封闭的同步系统, 放弃了.
然后就是圆角, Zen 的圆角半径还算收敛, 挺好. 但为了展示内圆角还要加一个边框分出内外圆角, 就像某种 CRT 显示器一样, 和新 Edge 一样(没这个过分), 如此设计? 不知道, 但我喜欢网页视窗边框和软件系统边框对齐, 也就是 Chromium 那样的无边框. 浏览器窗口全屏的时候 Windows 本来就有一个任务栏, 再加上一条边框, 成功组成双下巴.

而如果要视窗全屏, Zen 则是完全做不到, 和窗口全屏的区别只有 Windows 任务栏被隐藏了. Chromium 可以只留下一个滚动栏. 另外还发现 PixPin 不能截取 Chromium 网页内的元素, 但 Zen 可以, 这点确实好, 不知道是哪方面导致的.
Zen Browser 完全可以翻译成「禅定浏览器」, 这和今年才兴起的注意力优先型 UI/UX 设计直接相关, 近年 ADHD 似乎突然被 "流行"了起来, 让我想起了如今在互联网上生命周期已经被结束了的抑郁症(再划掉), 恐怕这次的 ADHD 也很难逃过互联网为了夺人眼球而成为被消费的小众话题/群体/痛苦.
它的目标肯定也是能够更好地帮助用户管理注意力, 然后才有了现在的设计, 竖向标签栏也是其中之一, 这样子的就和曾经的 Arc 的营销路线出发点不一样了, 以浏览器为基础的专注优先 Vs. 效率工作流.
由于我不是 Firefox 用户, 所以说的这些点很可能其实是 Firefox 的默认行为, 不应该怪到 Zen 的头上. 总体来说 Zen 算是 Firefox 非常好的一个新 UI, 决定留下来用一段时间.
