Per my "extra fields" my primary hobbies are computing and video games/software from all eras. Music more or less since it's been able to be reproduced a century ago until now, live shows, playing for fun or recording, discussion of every nuance that goes into a recording... just all of it.

Some thoughts re - FurAffinity and being a lifelong ABDL but only interested in fur/alternative personas myself for a year.
It feels as if the more time passes... there's more and more littles, but the homogony of the internet over time has made it more evident... how misunderstood the wider subculture actually is, and a reflection of how the needle hasn't moved for acceptance.
I'm more or less an open book to everyone in other circles - except for my little side. It's a defining part of my character that I mostly have to wall off to save havens like CubHub because again and again it's reiterated... seemingly most people would prefer if you didn't.
I really do want to give respect to those here who are/have tried to be apart of the wider furry landscape in spite of that. In particular, I'm sympathetic to the multiple artists here with diminishing places to be that have time for you. I might never be in the trenches of furry/babyfur culture, but you lot have consistently been some of the most memorable and inspiring ABs, DLs, littles... whatever. You're all wonderful.

I was feverish for a couple days last week and the entire time I just moved the goalposts - "this really sucks, I feel awful, and I'd love to just go back to the mundane ASAP please and thank you", kind of lost it one day in late July trying to get a tooth extracted with no insurance, but it did get sorted thankfully. Was very close to having to spend money I didn't have for an oral surgeon but narrowly found a way that wouldn't put my back against the wall financially on top of being frustrated with how health care left me in a position where it's preferred I go septic and die if I can't pay you money right now.
Basically how I deal with all physical health issues. I accept I can't exactly fix something in the moment and ride it out until I'm at my usual baseline. It's always a reminder of the positives you do have once you come out of it feeling normal.

Furries of the furries.
As someone who is more furry adjacent/allied and has been a life long ABDL - I've more or less come to terms with societies inability to understand certain perspectives in favor of jumping to worse case scenarios that are usually superficial comparison points.
I've mulled over talking about it with a new therapist. I was open about it nearly a decade ago, but inherently there's so few people who've never looked at it, or often times are unaware they ABDLs exist at all. It's a group I've found that treats others with the same mutual respect you'd want, but if you were to reveal that part of yourself to the same people, it's likely they'd want nothing to do with you to varying degrees of rejection.

I met up with a fellow ABDL this weekend - I haven't been with someone else in diapers in over seven years, and also only the second relationship in general... in over seven years.
I'll keep this post SFW - I'm terrible with initial confrontation with anyone, but I almost always mellow out in short order - after that, I don't think I've ever felt more "normal" about how diapers or my little side than I ever have. The amount of times I mentally went "oh my god he gets me" and "oh my god I get him"... it was like I got to pull off the mask for a day. Just completely verbalizing some thoughts and feelings I couldn't with anyone else who isn't also an AB.
I don't think either one of us labeled the terms of the relationship, all I know is we're staying in touch and I had multiple moments of pure catharsis. The kind of things you can read about, but feel so impossibly far away. I also confirmed that yes, I seem to enjoy snoofing as much as I thought I would.

Had a tooth pulled among other adult stuff, but on a more positive note, a prospective gathering with a fellow little may very well be happening soon... that might actually explain where my priorities are in terms of diapers, but there's too many lovely folks here I need to catch up with - thanks to all the regulars that I've interacted with here for almost a year now specifically.
