Fun federal government fact: You'd think that at the point that the media has been talking openly about a shutdown for a few weeks, that there'd be some talk of it *inside* tha fed govt as well.

I'm in a workshop for soft skills and the speaker just recommended that when talking to nontechnical stakeholders, we should "explain it in terms your mom or even your grandmother could understand."
